VAR to be used in AFC Champions League from quarter-final stage


The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) machine will be used from the quarter-final stage of the 2020 AFC Champions League, Asia’s football governing frame stated on Monday. The generation was once first used in Asian football final 12 months from the last-eight stage of the AFC Asian Cup, which was once held in the United Arab Emirates.

It was once then effectively carried out throughout all 32 video games of the AFC under-23 championship in Thailand in January and is about to be offered in AFC membership competitions for the primary time.
