Sushmita Sen’s refusal to lip-sync to ‘Mehboob Mere’ music lyrics led the track director to getting them modified.

Sushmita Sen is reported to have refused to lip-sync the lyrics of her hit observe Mehboob Mere from Fiza (2000). The explanation why? Suggestive lyrics, as mentioned in a report.
Song choreographer Ganesh Acharya recalled capturing for Mehboob Mere with the actress and mentioned that Sushmita refused to sing the lyric- ‘aa garmi le mere seene se (come feel the heat of my bosom)’- due to the suggestive nature. Ganesh added that Anu Malik, who was once the track composer for the film, were given it modified to ‘aa narmi le mere aankhon se (bask in the softness of my eyes)’. As in line with Ganesh, Sushmita commanded that kind of admire within the movie trade that the adjustments have been included at her behest.
Sushmita is recently self-quarantined at house along with her circle of relatives due to coronavirus outbreak. She has been incessantly sharing footage and movies of herself, boyfriend Rohman Shawl and daughter son social media to stay her fanatics entertained.
